Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine of QMH, established in 1964 under the first headship of Professor C Elaine Field, is now a regional renowned centre which provides secondary/ tertiary service. Our clinical subspecialties include community child health, developmental behavioral paediatrics, endocrinology/ metabolic diseases, gastroenterology, general paediatrics, genetics, haematology, immunology/ allergy /infectious diseases, neonatology, nephrology, neurology, paediatric intensive care, rehabilitation, respiratory medicine and rheumatology.
